Happy Thanksgiving to you too Jeff! Thanks for all the music. Listening to every one as they appear, and it brightens the day, always. Here's to Old Scratchy Records and all those that play 'em. :)

Huh! Started out with the intro to The Tornadoes version and then jumped into this one. Was that supposed to be on this recording? Anyway, interesting version.

thanks for the kind words guys. Right back at-cha!

@RW: I thought that too, but wasn't sure... Don't know anything about it, but yeah, pretty cool version.

The "SPC, Newark, NJ" at the bottom of the label is Synthetic Plastics -- Spin-O-Rama, Diplomat, etc. I knew they had a Power 45rpm budget label in the late-60s, but this Big label must have preceded it -- never saw one before.
The cover version of Telstar on Hit Records (from Nashville, TN) lifts the original's opening and closing sound effects too.

I have the 'Hit' records version of Telstar too. I didn't realize that these budget covers all sampled the sound effects from the original...
