And just think, if you purchased as many boxes of Solo Plastic cups during the 1960's & 70's, you could get these Dora Hall give-away records for free with the proof of purchase of the box of plastic cups. Hall was born around 1907, so she was around 55 years of age when she started recording these countless records on off shoot labels (Cozy, Rembeau, & Calamo were all subsidiaries of the Solo Cup Company of Chicago Illinois), and was around 74 years old when she made her last one cira 1981. She passed on in 1988. I wonder how many damaged copies were returned to the Solo Cup Company if any of these free records were purchase cracked or warped in the haphazard packaging boxes they came in over the years?
