Nixon's the only one

As you and i both know, election day will be upon us here in the good ole United States of America in just a few short days. This is a big one folks. The one where we elect our new commander in chief.

Here at Junk Shop Juke Box, we have carefully selected several records to lead up to this most historic occasion, and will be posting them all week leading up to the big day. The first Tuesday after the first Monday of November that is. In 2012's case, the 6th.

Without further ado, lets jjust get right down to the politics at hand... We'll kick it off with a catchy little campaign ditty that even though it's nearly a four minute song, only has two actual lines. Not to tell us anything about the man or what he plans to do for the people, just to simply tell us that he's the one... Which- i suppose he was.

Warning- This melody will get stuck in your head. Don't blame me if you feel a strong urge to do a write-in for Nixon when it comes time for you to go to your local polling place... You were warned.

Enjoy!

Finally! I've been looking for this one for a while - I've got a lounge album by Vic Ceasar that's amazing. Got me searching high and low for his other stuff, so thanks for this.

Oddly enough the guy over at 45 Blog posted this same side about a week ago. (Mine has better label graphics though.)
