Artists make fucked records all the time, but I really can't fathom how this one actually became a huge hit. It's easy to forget that Willie Nelson is a genius when you hear this. Completely laughable piece of crap that sold a zillion copies.
True story. What the shit were they thinking!? What producer thought "Hey- here's a swell idea, lets get Willie Nelson and Julio Iglasias together to cut a record."

At least Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder kinda made sense. 'Ebony and Ivory' was also a laughable piece of crap, but at the very least they were actually fans of each others works.
You can almost see how NOT into it Willie is posing for the cover photo even.
A lot of DJ's took the opportunity to add after annoucning the title, "Please call Dr. (fill in the blank)."
